How to create exchange rate lists?

Modified on Wed, 6 Nov, 2024 at 9:33 PM

Peppermint supports multi-currency accounting.

You can view or create an exchange rate list with the required currencies and corresponding exchange definitions through Administration - Shared References - Exchange Rate Lists.

To create a new list, click on "+ Exchange Rate List".

Name the exchange rate list, select the desired number of decimal places, and then click "Save".

Go to the "Currency" tab and click on:

  1. "+ Currency" to add a currency
  2. "Edit Currency" to edit the selected currency
  3. "Delete" to remove the selected currency

Create and/or modify exchange definitions in the "Exchange Rate" tab, then click on:

  1. "+ Exchange Rate" to add an exchange rate with a unique combination of source and target currencies
  2. "Edit Exchange Rate" to modify the selected exchange rate
  3. "Edit Daily Rate" to add and/or modify a daily exchange rate directly from the exchange rate list screen by selecting the relevant definition
  4. "Delete" to remove the selected exchange rate

Important

Currencies and exchange rates can only be deleted if they have not been used.
